Oregon - Stuck Shutter Photography

May 18, 2016

I know what you're wondering.  "Hey, what has Kenneth of Stuck Shutter Photography been up to?"  Honestly, I've been slacking off.   Quite a few changes have happened which kept my camera out of my hands.  Since January, I have been on two trips which have given me some great results.  The most recent trip was to Oregon and before that was to Mexico.  I will do a short writeup for that one soon.

Anyway, last Friday, my family and I flew to Portland, Oregon.  After landing, we jumped into a car and drove 7 hours to Cali to see family and then zoomed over to the coast and then drove up the Cali and Oregon coast.  It was an outstanding drive and I highly recommend that you take some time and do it for yourself!

We then ended up back at Portland to do some hiking in the Columbia River Valley.  Most notably, we hiked the Oneonta Gorge to Oneonta Falls.  Is was probably the best hike I've ever done in my life.

On the last day, we ended up at the Portland Japanese Gardens which are completely relaxing and SO well done!  I absolutely cannot wait to go back to the Pacific Northwest and see more of the sights.

After having a look at these images that I collected during the trip, make sure to take a look at the store to get a print to hang on your wall!

First, let's start with the California and Oregon Coast

Next, we will travel to the Columbia River Valley.

Finally, we will end at the Portland Japanese Garden.

Thanks for sticking with me through the slow times and checking this out.  Let me know what you think in the comment section below!
