Phoenix - Stuck Shutter Photography

February 19, 2017

One of the things that I was missing in photography before starting the 52 Model Challenge was the thrill of seeing something unexpected in the LCD after taking a picture.  One of the first examples of this was early in my career when I was fascinated by long exposures like this:

It was this type of excitement that kept me going to learn more and push myself.  I had felt that I had lost this for a while.  I was going with the status quo and not trying to do something out of the ordinary or really creative.  When I started this challenge, that all changed.  I have been pushing myself in ways that I never thought I would.  Both in the frequency of shoots (while having other engagements)  and working in styles that I normally would not have done.

Anyway, check out this week's vlog/BTS video:

This was a great week for me.  I feel rejuvenated and I can't wait to get back in the studio.  Here are some of the images that were created this week:

Thanks again for checking out this blog. If you have any suggestions on what I should do for future 52 Model Challenge shoots, you can leave a comment below or on one of my other social media channels.
